Space is provided in the <br /> Northside Multipurpose Center. <br /> NEED: The lease with CSPU6 expired September 30, 1984, however, the <br /> lease was not renewed because utility charges were in arrears <br /> $3,749.47. Currently, the overdue amount is $1,949.47. The <br /> school administrator and County staff have established a monthly <br /> payment amount of $400.00 ($325.00 for utility charges and <br /> $75.00 for debt repayment). Cbviously, CSPU6 has experienced <br /> administrative problems in the past. Department of Social <br /> Services--Daycare Division oversight and consultation has <br /> improved the schools administrative and financial procedures. <br /> The school has made remarkable progress since September, 1984. <br /> IMPACT: Lease renewal will permit CSPU6 to continue daycare operation in <br /> the same facility until June 30, 1986. <br /> RECCMENUATION: <br /> Approve the lease renewal agreement and authorize the Chair to <br /> sign. <br />
