5 <br /> III. PLAN FORMULATION <br /> A. Preliminary <br /> 1. Development Intensity map is produced by applying <br /> development intensity types to the Physio-access <br /> Districts Map. <br /> 2. Acreage of each development intensity type district on <br /> the map is determined and multiplied by the carrying <br /> capacity identified for the development intensity type. <br /> 3. Based on projected population, estimates of the acreages <br /> needed for various land uses, e.g. , residential, <br /> commercial, instutional, etc. , can be made. <br /> B. Fine-Tuning <br /> 1. Land uses and required acreages are allocated based upon <br /> combination of: <br /> a. Goals and objectives - where public wants them to go <br /> b. Location standards - where they should go from <br /> technical standpoint <br /> c. Utilities and streets - where they can be served and <br /> accessed <br /> 2. Plan is revised and fine tuning done as result of <br /> reviews by: <br /> a. Governing boards <br /> b. Staff <br /> c. Public <br /> • <br />
