EXCERPT FROM MAY 20, 1985 PLANNING BOARD MINUTES QRAFT <br /> VOTE: 8 in favor. <br /> 2 opposed (Kramer & Gordon, both feeling that <br /> Planning Board Chair should chair these hearings.) <br /> Agenda Item #6b: Time Schedule - Completion of Joint Planning Area <br /> Land Use Plan <br /> Memo concerning the time schedule for the hearing to <br /> receive comment on the Land Use Plan for Joint <br /> Planning Area. The date of September 10, 1985 as set <br /> by Orange County would conflict with Chapel Hill and <br /> efforts by staffs to ensure plan compatibility. <br /> Staff is asking for consenus of Board for <br /> recommendation that work and the Joint Planning Area <br /> Plan be centered around a December 10, 1985 Public <br /> Hearing date. <br /> MOTION: Pi].key moved recommendation of December 10, 1985 as <br /> date for Public Hearing on Joint Planning Area Land <br /> Use Plan in order to coincide with Chapel Hill. <br /> Seconded by Kizer. <br /> Walters noted he felt Orange County needs to set the <br /> pace not Chapel Hill in the future. <br /> • Kizer inquired if water/sewer, water standards, etc. <br /> were grouped together in consideration versus <br /> separate items in priority. Collins responded that ' <br /> the reason for breakdown was infrastructure versus <br /> standards/zoning. <br /> VOTE: 8 in favor. <br /> Shanklin and Gordon opposed. <br /> Agenda Item #7: Water Resources Committee Report <br /> Greenberg noted the February meeting had been <br /> cancelled by staff and several attempts to meet with <br /> staff had been unsuccessful. <br /> • Smith responded staff had been stretched "too thin" <br /> and had not been able to schedule another meeting. <br /> Agenda Item #8: _Subdivision Application <br /> North Dixie - Section Two - Final <br /> • The purpose of this agenda item is to consider <br /> approval of the Final Plan for North Dixie - <br /> Section Two. <br />
