Section 6.16.6.1 d) and 6.16.2c) <br /> restrict home occupations as follows: "The on- <br /> premise sale and delivery of goods, which are not <br /> the product of the home occupation is prohibited." <br /> Although staff has interpreted this provision to <br /> allow only goods produced on the premises, the <br /> intent is not clear. Nor does the provision <br /> address retail products sold on-premises which are <br /> associated with the home occupation, for example a <br /> beauty parlor which sells hair products. <br /> EXISTING ORDINANCE: <br /> SECTION 6.16.1 d) <br /> and <br /> SECTION 6.16.2 c) The on-premise sale of goods <br /> which are not the product of <br /> the home occupation is <br /> prohibited. <br /> PROPOSED ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT: <br /> Revise to read: The on-premise& sale and delivery <br /> of goods which are not produced 011 <br /> the premises is prohibited, except <br /> in the case, of the delivery and <br /> sale of goods incidental to the <br /> pgovisionof, a service. <br /> Add to Article XXII DEFINITIONS: <br /> Goods. Incidental. Retail goods for sale in a <br /> manner customary and subordinate to the provision <br /> of a service, eg. beautician selling hair care <br /> products. <br />
