The property is referenced as part <br /> of Lot 16 of Tax Map 38. It is bordered by agricultural and <br /> residential development. The tract is designated as <br /> Agricultural-Residential on the Land Use Plan. <br /> There are twelve (12) lots proposed out of 20.14 acres. The <br /> lot sizes are 3 @ 1.3 acres, 2.7 acres, 4 @ 1.6 acres, 2.2 <br /> acres, 1.7 acres, 1.5 acres and 1.4 acres. The property is <br /> zoned A-R (Agricultural-Residential) . <br /> The applicant is requesting approval of a Class "B" private <br /> road with access to SR 1005, a road designated as an arterial <br /> street in the Land Use Plan. <br /> Fire protection for the property in question is provided on a <br /> joint volunteer basis by the North Chatham Fire Department of <br /> Chatham County and the Eli Whitney Fire Department of Alamance <br /> County. Law enforcement is provided by the Orange County <br /> Sheriff's Department. It will be patrolled on a 24 hour basis. <br /> IMPACT: Development of this subdivision would have minimal impact on <br /> the area. <br />
