That
letter was insufficient to satisfy the County's Subdivision
Regulations and Zoning Ordinance because it fails to satisfy the
zoning ordinance and Subdivision requirements as set forth in my
letter to Marvin Collins dated February 13, 1985 on this subject.
The Town does not certify or officially approve a sewer and water
system by stating that property owners can connect provided "that
all necessary requirements of the Town...and State are met." The
approval by the Town occurs when those requirements are met. I
have enclosed copies of both of the letters I received with the
problem areas highlighted. The letter to McAdams, of course,
contains additional limiting language which makes the letter even
less of an "approval" by the Town.
Very truly yours,
z y
GEGilsa
Enclosures
cc: Marvin Collins
Susan Smith\)
Ken Thompson -
Don Willhoit
•
