McAdams Comp,, Inc. <br /> Post Office Box 2896 <br /> Chapel Hill, North Carolina 27514 <br /> Dear Mr. McAdams: <br /> This is to advise you that the Town of Hillsborough is willing to per- <br /> mit the owners of the proposed Scotswoods Development to connect to the Town's <br /> water-sewer system; provided, however, that all necessary requirements of <br /> the Town and, where necessary, the State are met. <br /> In the event that existing lines or other components of the Town's <br /> system are inadequate to accommodate the proposed development, the developer <br /> is responsible for upgrading such lines or components, either individually <br /> or in cooperation with other developers. The Town of Hillsborough assumes <br /> no financial responsibility for the upgrading or improvement to any line or <br /> system component, nor for the extension of lines between the Town's system <br /> and the proposed development. <br /> It should be noted that this letter does not speak to capacity or pre- . <br /> ssure for this proposed development.
