ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING DEPARTMENT i 3:,
FILTSBOROUGH
NORTH CAROLINA
27278
.401o1 ar e....
(...,,„_:_.
--A
r14
111
71t Zati"
MEMORANDUM
TO: Susan Smith, Orange County Planning
FROM: Warren Faircloth, Erosion Control OfficerOF
SUBJECT: Erosion Control Plan and Stormwater
Management Plan for West Ten Mobile Park.
DATE: May 23, 1985
I have reviewed the Preliminary Erosion Control Plan
for this project and find that it is adequate and
appropriate for the site. If this proposal is ap-
proved, a final Erosion Control Plan must be sub-
mitted, approved and the appropriate fees paid prior
to the start of construction.
The Stormwater Management Plan submitted does not
address the zoning requirements for this site. The
submitted plan proposes a detention pond to control
the peak rate of runoff for the ten-year storm as
required under the Erosion Control Ordinance for
University Lake watershed. The Zoning Ordinance
I . requires that the first half-inch of runoff from this
site be infiltrated, a very different standard than
the one addressed in submitted plan.
c: Phil Post & Associates
Darrell Garrett & Waylon McFarland
- ,
