os� <br /> A meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Orange County, North <br /> Carolina, was held in the Courtroom of the old Post Office, Chapel Hill, <br /> North Carolina, the regular place of meeting at 7:30 o'clock p.m., on the <br /> 21st day of May, 1985. <br /> Present: <br /> Absent: <br /> The following resolution was read to the Board: <br /> PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT RESOLUTION <br /> FOR THE FINANCING BY ORANGE COUNTY OF <br /> THE LOCAL SHARE OF THE COSTS OF <br /> PAVING NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD i#1590, <br /> ALSO KNOWN AS RENFREW DRIVE, BRIGADOON DRIVE <br /> (PORTION ONLY) , AND MCDERMOTT DRIVE (PORTION ONLY) , <br /> IN ENO TOWNSHIP, ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA. <br /> WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Orange County <br /> has received a petition requesting the paving of North Carolina State <br /> Road #1590, also known as Renfrew Drive, Brigadoon Drive (portion only) , <br /> and McDermott Drive (portion only) , in Eno Township, Orange County, <br /> North Carolina, which petition has been signed by at least seventy-five <br /> percent (758) of the owners of'property adjoining the said roads, which <br /> property represents at least seventy-five percent (758) of the lineal feet <br /> of frontage of the lands abutting the said roads, pursuant to North <br /> Carolina General Statute Section 153A-205(c); and <br /> WHEREAS the Board of Commissioners of Orange County has <br /> i <br /> elected to finance the local share of the casts of paving the said roads, <br /> _l_ <br />
