Maximum slope for sludge application shall be 12% for surface applications and <br /> 18% for subsurface applications. <br /> 18. No liquid sludge will be applied by surface or subsurface application within <br /> . 100 feet of any surface water or well, or within 200 feet of any tributary of <br /> a public water supply. <br /> 19. Application rates shall not exceed: <br /> a. 20,000 to 26.000 gallons/acre/day. of liquid sludge, uniformly applied so <br /> as to avoid runoff, ponding, or erosion. <br /> b. 2.0 dry tons of sludge/acre�/year. <br /> c. 225 lbs. of plant' available N/acre/year for lands covered In fescue or <br /> bermuda grass. <br /> d. 180 lbs. of plant available N/acre/year for land to be used for corn crops <br /> e. 200 lbs. of plant available it/acre/year of solid sludge for agriculatural <br /> land. <br /> f -The needs of the crops.being grown based upon current soil and sludge <br /> analysis. <br /> 20. Surface application of liquid sludge shall not be applied to sites that are <br /> prone to flooding conditions. <br /> 21. The owner of the disposal site shall be furnished an analysis of sludge delivel <br /> to the site. <br /> 22. Animals should not be grazed on sludge applied land within a 30 day period <br /> following the sludge application. <br /> 23. A recorded log of applications including amounts applied, dates, whether <br /> injected or incorporated, coordinates of application, etc., shall be maintained <br /> at the wastewater treatment plant as a permanent record. <br /> 24. In any future transfer of this land, a notice shall be given to the new owner <br /> that gives full details as to the materials applied or incorporated at these ' <br /> sites. <br /> 25. The Permittee, at least six (6) months prior to the expiration- of this permit, <br /> shall request its extension. Upon receipt of the request, the Comimission will <br /> review the adequacy of the facilities described therein, and if indicated, <br /> will extend the permit for such period of time and under such conditions and <br /> limitations as it may deem appropriate. <br />
