032 <br /> Approximately 20% of the private roads would be affected by <br /> this revision. There are an average of 30 private roads <br /> approved each year. <br /> The Planning Board considered this matter for recommendation at <br /> their April 15, 1985 meeting. The Board also directed staff to <br /> prepare information on road maintenance agreements and <br /> construction and/or bonding of private roads for the Board's <br /> consideration at a subsequent meeting. <br /> IMPACT: Citizens would not have to purchase a road sign for Class C <br /> roads under 500 feet in length. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Planning Board recommends that the Private Road <br /> Standards section Road Name ang Sigm be amended to provide as <br /> follows; "Class C roads under 500' in length are required to <br /> be named, but are not required to have a road sign provided." <br />
