The intent of this agree- <br /> ment would prohibit any sale of gift of that software by that <br /> unit of government. <br /> NEED: There are occasions where counties or cities have software that <br /> Orange County could swap or receive from that unit of government <br /> without charge. <br /> IMPACT: This agreement would not have a warranty as to making changes or <br /> function on their equipment and would not prohibit an outright <br /> sale to a private vendor. <br /> RECOMNENDATION(S): <br /> Approve agreement to allow other units of government to secure <br /> this software but not to give or resell software to anyone else. <br />
