• <br /> O6f, <br /> A BILL TO BE ENTITLED <br /> AN CT '10 AUTHORIZE A PROCEDURE FOR ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARY <br /> BETWEEN ORANGE AND CHATHAM COUNTIES. <br /> The General Assembly enacts: <br /> Section 1. G.S. 153A-18 is amended by adding a new <br /> subsection (c) to read as follows: <br /> "(c) Two or more counties may establish the boundary <br /> between them pursuant to subsection (a), above, by the use of <br /> base maps prepared from orthophotography, which base maps <br /> show the monuments of the United States Geological Survey and <br /> North Carolina State Plane Coordinate System established <br /> pursuant to G.S. Chapter 102." <br /> Sec. 2. This act shall apply to Orange and Chatham <br /> Counties only. <br /> Sec. 3. This act shall become effective upon <br /> ratification. <br />
