Seconded by <br /> Pearson. <br /> • - <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> 9c(1) Subdivision Regulations Text Amendments <br /> Definitions. <br /> The wording of the definition of <br /> "subdivision" currently contained in <br /> the Orange County Subdivision . <br /> Regulations differs slightly from the <br /> wording for "subdivision" in the <br /> enabling legislation. <br /> The most substantial: difference in <br /> wording is in the first exemption to <br /> regulation. • The Orange County <br /> Subdivision Regulations refers to "the <br /> combination of recombination of <br /> portions of previously platted lots" <br /> where as the General Statutes refers to <br /> "the recombination or combination of <br /> previously subdivided and recorded <br /> lots". The latter provides for <br /> subdivision by a recorded deed or plat <br /> - <br /> while the former .provides only <br /> subdivision by plat. , <br /> Amendment of the Ordinance would assure. <br /> that administration of the Subdivision <br /> Ordinance is consistent with the State <br /> general enabling legislation. <br /> MOTION: Kizer moved approval.
