Since that date the <br /> Program Planning Committee, a subccumittee of the Private <br /> Industry Council (PIC), has reviewed labor market information, <br /> JTPA requirements and funding availability. The review and <br /> subsequent discussions resulted in five recommended <br /> changes/modifications in the Job Training Plan. The <br /> recommendations were approved by the PIC on March 19, 1985. The <br /> modifications will be submitted to the State Division of <br /> Employment and Training (DET) after the consortium (Orange <br /> County, Durham County and City of Durham) approves the <br /> modifications. Modifications are attached and copies of the <br /> original plan are available. <br /> IMPACT: The modifications must be submitted to DET before April 12, <br /> 1985. <br /> RECCMMEMATION• <br /> Approve five modifications to the JTPA two year Job Training <br /> Plan as recommended by the PIC and Manager. <br />
