The attached amendment proposal <br /> • reflects a desire to tighten current providions of the Zoning <br /> • Ordinance by specifically requiring the applicant to submit <br /> • materials addressing relationships with and impacts on adjacent <br /> properties and facilities; impacts on and methods to minimize <br /> • impacts on surface and ground water; compliance with the <br /> provisions of the Special Use Permit during the interim of the <br /> operation; rehabilitation reclamation plans, and local need. <br /> IMPACT: This amendment, if approved, would tighten the provision of <br /> Article 8 regarding the issuance of ' Special Use Permits for <br /> extractive uses. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: - <br /> The Planning Board recommends approval of the amendment to the <br /> Zoning Ordinance. • <br /> The Planning Board also recommends that 8.8.1.2i) be 'revised to <br /> provide for a 250'-foot setback. <br /> • <br /> • <br />
