Chapel Hill-Carrboro Schools has since indicated a <br /> willingness to proceed whereas Orange County Schools has <br /> declined to support the merger study. <br /> Attached draft outline provides the scope of questions to be <br /> addressed by study commission. <br /> IMPACT: Develop information by which the implications for school system <br /> merger can be assessed. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Proceed with advertising and recruitment of people interested in <br /> serving on the proposed study commission. <br />
