Geneal Contractor - Durham Construction Co. at:$247,700 <br /> Base amount $237,500, plus <br /> Alternate G.1. $3,100 (chiller pit) <br /> Alternate G.2. $1,900 (new drainage lines) <br /> Alternate 0.6. $5,200 (carpet in courtroom) <br /> 2. HVAC - Comfort Engineers at: $ 80,629 <br /> Base amount $81,304, less <br /> Deduct <675> <br /> 3. Plumbing - Industrial Maintenance and <br /> Supply, Inc. at: $ 13,000 <br /> 4. Eiectrical - Adams and Tilly Electric Co. at: $ 34,240 <br /> Total Bids $375,569 <br /> Amount budgeted is $317,625 based on the architect's original <br /> estimate of project cost. Bids exceed original estimate in the <br /> two areas. <br /> Under the general bid the additional cost elements are for new <br /> roof and interior stairway to meet fire code. Detailed <br /> examination revealed that the existing galvanized roof needed to <br /> be replaced because of rust condition at North and South ends of <br /> mar <br />
