It is referenced as Lot 36C and 37 on Tax 1 Map 28 in Cheeks. Township. The request addresses all of lot 36C and the portion 1 of Lot 37 not-. zoned EC-5' in 1984.. These lots contain- 3.83 and 17.45 acres respectively. . The. area is designated on. the Land Use Plan as Ten Year Transition and zoned R-I . The applicant, requests that an error in the Zoning Atlas for Cheeks Township be corrected to show this- parcel as. commercial as opposed to Residential.-1 zoning district.. The use has been in operation since 1972 and the property was previously used for commercial purposes for many years. Only a portion of Lot 37 dimensioned as. 170'x 450, feet was listed in the.list of specific lots to be zoned other than AR' or R-I in the extension of zoning to Cheeks Township. The applicant's business is called the WI-Com: Truck Lines, Inc. The portion of the property currently zoned Existing Commercial-V includes the. office, shop, storage areas and structures, parking and refueling areas.
