It is recommended that <br /> a left turn lane be constructed on NC86 for any access onto NC86. <br /> The speed limit on NC86 is 55MPIX at this location. The vertical <br /> alignment is hilly. Trucks using NC86 will build up speed going <br /> downhill and probably have a difficult time stopping for traffic <br /> stopped on NC86 waiting to turn left into -the development. The <br /> development also borders onto Coleman Loop Road. It is possible <br /> that access to the development can be off Coleman Mill Road with <br /> the left turn lane being constructed at the intersection of NC86 <br /> and Coleman Mill Road. We will be glad to discuss options with the <br /> developer or his engineer as plans are being finalized.
