Twy ty-acr <br /> acres <br /> of the property in Chatham County has been zoned commercialand <br /> Mr. Proctor desires to make plans to develop this property. <br /> Unfortunately, there seems to be a <br /> question <br /> years t <br /> county line actually exists. Over the last few as to heree has <br /> been some discussion between our county office and theCountys <br /> Planning Office in Orange County concerning establishment of the <br /> line. Mr. Proctor intends to develop property in the area and <br /> would like to develop all the Chatham County side of the line. <br /> Commercial development in that area could impact favorably as <br /> far as Chatham County ad valorem taxes is concerned. <br /> The purpose of this letter is to see whether or not the County <br /> would have the county line surveyed in that area in order that <br /> the landowners as well as the County would know exactly where <br /> the line is. You and I had discussed the <br /> l <br /> County would contribute to the cost of having sthe line run mange <br /> that area. I would greatly appreciate your discussing this with <br /> the County Commissioners at their next meeting.
