This phase will include aerial <br /> photography, ground control (vertical and horizontal), <br /> analytical triangulation (high and low), orthophotographs, and <br /> topographical overlays in a two year cycle. <br /> NEED: Approval of a bid and contract for the mapping of Chapel Hill <br /> Township is the first step towards providing the County with <br /> accurate base and cadastral property maps. These maps will be <br /> used by all County and municipal land offices in Orange County, <br /> and especially they will be used in the appraisal and inventory <br /> of real property for the tax offices. <br /> As a professional service the base map production must be <br /> accomplished by a highly competent and reliable firm to produce <br /> accurate and usable base maps. <br /> IMPACT: 1984-85 28,064 Phase one-flying and photography and <br /> analytical control. <br /> -Funding from an approved $9,000 <br /> grant from the State and $19,000 from <br /> the napping monies set aside in the <br /> Revaluation Fund. <br /> 1985-86 179,892 Phase one/part two-for Chapel Hill <br /> Township orthophotos and topographic <br /> naps; <br /> -Funding to be partly from a state <br /> grant and partly from County sources, <br /> subject to budget approval. <br /> 1986-87 117,259 Phase two/proposal one-for flying <br /> photography and analytical control; <br /> orthophoto for rest of County. <br />
