Final Review and Approval <br /> Hazen and Sawyer will review the final contract <br /> documents with members of the County staff . Upon <br /> approval by the County, Hazen and Saywer will assist <br /> the County in securing the required regulatory <br /> approvals by participating in the submissions and <br /> discussions with the appropriate authorities. <br /> 6. Assistance in Securing Construction Bids <br /> • <br /> Hazen and Sawyer will provide contract documents for <br /> the purposes of soliciting price proposals from <br /> qualified contractors for the proposed sewer line <br /> construction. Bids received will be analyzed and a <br /> recommendation for award of construction contracts will <br /> be made. <br /> • <br /> During the construction phase, Hazen and Saywer will provide <br /> Construction Engineering Services in accordance with the County' s <br /> •. request for proposals . General administration of the <br /> • construction contact will include review and approval of shop <br /> drawings , approval of contractor payment request and preparation <br /> of change order, if required. Upon completion of the project , <br /> Hazen and Sawyer will certify substantial completion and furnish <br /> the County a reproducible set of "As Built" drawings. <br /> . Hazen and Sawyer will also provide a qualified project <br /> representative to monitor the daily construction activities . <br /> Generally, a full-time project representative is desirable for <br /> gravity sewer construction, although less intensive supervision <br /> can be provided if desired by the County. The project <br /> • representative working in combination with general supervision by <br /> our project manager will insure that construction is conducted in <br /> accordance with the contract documents . <br /> Client References <br /> Hazen and Sawyer takes pride in the fact that 70% of our <br /> business is derived from repeat clients.
