VW, 064 <br /> • COMPENSATION FOR RESIDENT INSPECTION <br /> 1. Unless notified by the OWNER in writing that the OWNER will provide <br /> for resident inspection, the ENGINEER will provide detailed, full-time <br /> resident construction inspection. The OWNER further agrees to pay the <br /> ENGINEER for such service in accordance with the fee shown in Table III <br /> above. Detailed full-time resident construction inspection is defined <br /> as having an inspector on-site at all times work is in progress which will <br /> be covered during installation or by subsequent construction. All above <br /> ground installations which can be inspected for compliance with plans and <br /> specifications after installation may be inspected periodically as needed <br /> and will not require continuous presence of an inspector. <br /> (a) Ninety percent (90%) of the total compensation payable <br /> periodically during the construction period. <br /> (b) Ten percent (10%) of the total compensation upon final approval - - <br /> of the project by the OWNER and bola and completion by the <br /> ENGINEER of all the requirements of this contract. <br /> 2. The resume of the inspector(s) to be assigned to a project will be <br /> submitted for approval of the OWNER and FinIA two weeks prior to the date of <br /> preconstruction conference and the approved inspector(s) will attend the <br /> preconstruction conference. <br /> 3.
