The <br /> Sheriffs system is in operation and on schedule. <br /> The new equipment has been ordered and should be <br /> installed by the end of January. This doubles our memory . <br /> size and our disc storage space on our newer machine and <br /> increases our possible- users from 88 to 104. The <br /> •specifications for two micros, one for Social Services and <br /> - one for Recreation, are out now and we should have those <br /> installed within sixty to ninty days. - <br /> E. Objectives 1985-86 <br /> • • <br /> For 1985-86 we will maintain our current service levels <br /> and possibly develop new systems for Central Dispatch, • <br /> Social Services, Library, and Planning. There is some <br /> interest in extending our land records access to the private <br /> sector, primarily for attorneys and realtors. All of our <br /> computer equipment is now paid for. The old system, <br /> acquired in 1979, is at capacity and we need to start <br /> planning for its replacement. <br />
