HARASSMENT <br /> In this organization, sexual harassment is defined <br /> as: ' <br /> 8. 11. 1 Unwelcomed or unwanted sexual advances. <br /> This means patting, pinching, brushing up <br /> against, hugging, cornering, kissing, <br /> fondling, or any other similar physical <br /> contact considered unacceptable by another <br /> individual. <br /> 8. 11.E Requests or demands for sexual favors. <br /> This includes subtle or blatant expecta- <br /> tions, pressures, or requests for any type <br /> of sexual favor accompanied by an implied <br /> or stated promise of preferential treatment <br /> or negative consequence concerning one' s <br /> ki employment status. <br /> xv: <br /> 8. 11. 3 Verbal abuse or kidding that is sex-ori- <br /> ented and considered unacceptable by <br /> another individual. This includes comment- <br /> ing about an individual's body or appear- <br /> ance where such comments go beyond cour- <br /> tesy: telling "dirty jokes" that are <br /> clearly unwanted and considered offensive <br /> by others: or any other tasteless, sexually <br /> oriented comments, innuendoes or actions <br /> that offend others. <br /> 8. 11.4 Engaging in any type of sexually oriented <br /> conduct that would unreasonably interfere <br /> with another's work performance. This <br /> includes extending unwanted sexual atten- <br /> tions to someone that reduces personal <br /> productivity or time available to work at <br /> 1 assigned tasks. <br /> 8. 11.5 Creating a work environment that is intimi- <br /> dating, hostile or offensive because of <br /> unwelcome or unwanted sexually-oriented <br /> conversations, suggestions, requests, <br /> demands, physical contacts or attentions. <br /> 8. 1E Normal, courteous, mutually respectful, pleasant, <br /> non-coercive interactions between men and women <br /> that are acceptable to both parties is not consi- <br /> dered it <br /> to be sexual harassment. <br /> 8. 13 This organization will not tolerate sexual harass- <br /> memt of it' s employees by anyone - supervisors, <br /> other employees or clients and customers.
