33 <br /> 4 8.2. 1 Operating a county vehicle in an unsafe and <br /> unlawful manner may result in termination. <br /> 8.2.2 The theft of, destruction, or abuse to <br /> county property may result in immediate <br /> termination of employment. <br /> 8. 3 The County makes reasonable efforts to provide <br /> safe, healthful working conditions, the County is <br /> genuinely interested in the health of all <br /> employees. In accordance with legal requirements: <br /> 8.3. 1 Employees must keep their work areas clean <br /> and orderly. <br /> 8.3.2 Employees should be watchful for unsafe <br /> conditions and unsafe practices in the work <br /> place, they should be reported to your <br /> supervisor immediately. <br /> 8.3. 3 Employees should use prescribed safety <br /> equipment to protect themselves and fellow <br /> employees and to safeguard County equipment <br /> and property. In designated areas, please <br /> wear safety glasses, shields, gloves and <br /> ear protection. <br /> 8.3. 4 The following are prohibited: <br /> - horseplay <br /> - fighting <br /> - running <br /> - firearms <br /> - intoxicants <br /> - jumping from platforms <br /> - unsecured or loose clothing <br /> 8.3.5 Employees will not be permitted to report <br /> to work while under the influence of a <br /> prescribed drug that impairs mobility, <br /> judgment, or job performance. <br /> 8.3.6 The possession or consumption of aicholic <br /> beverages while on County property is <br /> prohibited. Violations will result in <br /> termination. <br /> 8.3.7 The possession or consumption of illegal, <br /> controlled drugs while on County property <br /> is prohibited. Violations will result in <br /> termination. <br /> 8.3.8 Firearms or any other weapons are not <br /> permitted on County property. Violations <br /> will result in termination. <br /> 8.3. 9 Clothing must conform to safety require- <br /> ments and codes of good moral taste. <br />
