tlt; <br /> 30 <br /> 4.6 Upon his return to work, the employee will be <br /> reinstated to his previous position or one of like <br /> classification, seniority, and pay, unless such a <br /> position is no longer available due to budgetary <br /> reduction in staff. <br /> 4.7 An employee in the process of using all accumu- <br /> lated leave will continue to be in a leave earning <br /> capacity and be entitled to holiday; however, once <br /> all leave is exhausted, holidays, vacation and <br /> ,ick leave accumulations will cease and the em- <br /> ployee will be carried on the payroll in a non-pay <br /> status. <br /> 4.8 An employee on leave without pay shall assume his <br /> insurance premium costs under the county' s group <br /> insurance policies. Payment should be made to the <br /> payroll clerk. <br /> 4.9 An employee will retain all unused annual, sick <br /> and petty leave while on leave without pay, except <br /> that petty leave unused by the end of a calendar <br /> year will be lost. <br /> 5.0 OUTSIDE/DUAL EMPLOYMENI AND SOLICITATION <br /> The work of the county will take precedence over other <br /> occupational interests of employees. Other employment <br /> shall not be so demanding in time and energy that the <br /> employee is unable to maintain an acceptable level of <br /> perfomance in the county' s service. <br /> 5. 1 All outside employment for salaries, wages, or <br /> commission and all self-employment must be re- <br /> ported to the employee' s supervisor. The County <br /> Manager will review such employment to determine <br /> the county's liability. <br /> 5. 1. 1 Abuses such as leaving work early, the use <br /> of county equipment to conduct personal <br /> • business, being sluggish or sleeping on the <br /> job due to outside employment will not be <br /> tolerated. <br /> 5. 1.2 Employment with firms, offices, businesses, <br /> ? agencies, and including self-employment, <br /> that clearly gt71:71t, <br /> with will be grounds for punitive action <br /> including termination. <br /> 5.2 An employee cannot be additionally "employed" by <br /> another county department without advance review <br /> ; and approval by the County Manager. <br /> 5.2. 1 An employee's work in another department <br />-7 without advance review and approval by the <br /> County Manager is prohibited by the <br />
