The order applies to non <br /> construction contractors with 50 or more <br /> employees and a contract exceeding $50,000. <br /> 1.6.4 The Equal Pay Act of 1963: <br /> This federal law requires that employers provide <br /> equal pay for men and women performing similar <br /> work. <br /> 1.6.5 The Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 <br /> (as amended in 1978) : <br /> This federal law prohibits discrimination <br /> against persons aged 40-70 in any area of <br /> employment because of age. <br /> Ili <br /> 1.6.6 The Rehabilitation Act of 1973: <br /> This federal law prohibits discrimination <br /> against qualified Physically and mentally <br /> handicapped individuals. <br /> 1.6.7 Non-discrimination on the Basis of Handicap in <br /> Programs and Activities Receiving or Benefiting <br />
