Pearson seconded the motion. <br /> VOTE: 7 in favor. Wilson, Pilkey and Greenberg opposed. Yuhasz <br /> abstained. <br /> ITEM #5b ZONING ATLAS AMENDMENTS <br /> 1 . ROCKING "B" SADDLE SHOP <br /> The staff presentation was made by Smith. <br /> Kizer expressed concern that the EC5 designation was a generous <br /> zone. - <br /> MOTION: Pearson moved approval of the Existing Commercial V zoning <br /> district for the portion of the lot- dimensioned as 1001700' - <br /> 4001400' including the existing structures. Pilkey seconded <br /> the motion. <br /> Wilson was out of the room. <br /> VOTE: 10 in favor. <br /> 2.GRIFFIN'S GENERAL SERVICES <br /> The staff presentation was made by Smith. <br /> Kizer inquired about the use of the structure. Smith responded <br /> it was used for general repair of machinery and tools. <br /> MOTION: Pilkey moved approval of the Existing Commercial V zoning <br /> district for the portion of the lot dimensioned as 200'450' <br /> including the structure. Pearson seconded the motion. - <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> 3.EFLAND HOSIERY MILL <br /> Smith made the staff presentation. <br /> Wilson inquired why the entire tract was to be designated. Smith <br /> responded that the entire property was associated with the use <br /> of the tract. Wilson felt that this designation rewarded the <br /> owner for "dragging his feet " on the extension of zoning to <br /> Cheeks Township. Shanklin felt that this statement did not apply <br /> to the owner of this business. <br /> MOTION: Kizer moved approval of the Industrial Ii zoning district for the <br /> tract. <br /> Shanklin expressed concern about the traff.ic' hazard caused by the <br /> parking lot lighting, seconded the motion. <br /> VOTE: 10 in favor. Wilson opposed. <br />
