Scholar responded- that -his intention is to pave <br /> Harper Street on a. cooperative basis with the State when funds <br /> are available on July 1, 1985. <br /> P i-1 key. inquired. about the. housing types in Highland Woods,and <br /> the.' hous.ing types:proposed. Scholar responded that stick-built <br /> and mobile homes were present in Highland Woods and that all units <br /> in his subdivision will be•stick-built. <br /> Piikey inquired about the property to the south. Yuhasz resonded <br /> it was the remainder of the tract. which is 47 acres in size. He <br /> notes that this portion was in the Town of Hillsborough's juris- <br /> diction. <br /> MOTION: Pearson moved-approval of the subdivision without the :Conditions <br /> recommended by the Town of Hillborough. Shanklin 'seconded the <br /> motion. <br /> The Board discussed the conditions. <br /> Pearson felt that the conditions recommended-by the Town were <br /> unfair and, in the. case of drainage easements, not applicable. <br /> Wilson noted that under the Need sect-ion of the abstract-_the <br /> road was specified as to be constructed as public. • <br /> Waiters felt that underground. utilities were not expensive. <br /> Shanklin noted that it would be different if run from Town to <br /> the street versus the along the street serving the lots. <br /> • <br /> Wilson asked whet the intention was regarding the street as public. <br /> Smith. responded that staff was simply' relaying the applicant's <br /> statement of intent regarding the proposal , but that staff did <br /> not find a public road to be necessary in the case of this <br /> subdivision. <br /> MOTION Wilson . amended the motion to include Cleo Drive to be. constructed <br /> AMENDMENT: to state standards and dedicated public.
