Authorization to Debut Live Casting of BOCC Meetings <br />The Board will consider authorizing the official debut live casting of BOCC meetings from Southern Human <br />Services Center on March 27, 2007 on Orange County Government Channel 265. <br />g. Kequest for social services to U se r acility on V alley r orge Koad <br />The Board twill consider authorizing the use of a building on Valley Forge Road, previously the site of <br />Orange Enterprises, for use as DSS program space; and to authorize the Manager to sign a contract to retain <br />architectural services necessary for upfit. <br />h. Agreement Renewal Between Chapel Hill Training and Outreach, Inc. and Health Department for <br />Social «~'orker II <br />The Board «~•ill consider approving an agreement renewal between Chapel Hill Training Outreach, Inc. and <br />the Health Department for the support of a Social Worker II position for the Early Head Start Program and <br />authorize the Chair to sign subject to final reviet~~ by the County Attorney. <br />i. agreement Renewal Between UNC Hospitals and Orange County for the Senior Wellness Program <br />The Board «-•ill consider an agreement renewal to receive $25,000 from the University of North Carolina <br />(UNC) Hospitals for their co-sponsorship of the Department on Aging's Senior Wellness Program from July <br />1, 2006 -June 30, 2007; and authorize the Chair to sign subject to final review by staff and the County <br />Attorney. <br />j. Little River Park Bike Trail Agreement Renewal <br />The Board t~~ill consider renewal of a Memorandum of understanding (MOLT) between Orange and Durham <br />counties and a Mountain Bike Organization for the purpose of continuing the establislunent and maintenance <br />of mountain bike trails at Little River Regional Park.; and authorize the Manager to sign. <br />k. Legal Advertisement for Joint Planning Public Hearing - Apizl 2G, 2007 <br />The Board will consider the legal advertisement for items to be presented at the Joint Planning Area Public <br />Hearing scheduled for Apri126, 2007. <br />1. Regional Value ~~ldded Processing Center -Feasibility Study Appropriation and Contract <br />Approval <br />The Board will consider appropriating $2,500 and approving a contract for a feasibility study for an <br />agriculture products regional value-added processing center; and authorize the Chair to sign, contingent upon <br />review by the County Attorney. <br />m. Grant Application for Haw River Access <br />The Board will consider confirming the application submitted by the Chair on behalf of the Board fora 2007 <br />National Recreational Trails Program Grant application to gain funds for the acquisition of land for a public <br />canoe access area along the Haw River. <br />o. Approval of Contract Amendment: Design Services Central Orange Senior Center <br />The Board «Till consider approving an amendment to the contract for design services associated with the <br />Central Orange Senior Center with Corley Redfoot Zack in the amount of $400,160; and authorize the Chair <br />to sign. <br />p. Request for Temporary C"onstruction Access at Skills Development C"enter <br />The Board will consider allowing temporary use of an approximately 5-10 foot strip of land at the rear of the <br />Skills Development Center property to facilitate construction on the adjacent property; and authorize the <br />Manager to sign the agreement. <br />6.
