RECORDS REVIEW <br /> The purpose of the records review is to obtain and review records that will help identify <br /> RECs in connection with the subject site. The ASTM standard regulatory databases and <br /> additional databases was conducted by EDR. EDR searched databases maintained by <br /> the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the NCDEQ. The EDR database <br /> results are included in Appendix C. <br /> If deemed necessary, HEnv will utilize the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), in order to <br /> review additional information on file NCDEQ, EPA, or local municipality. <br /> VI.1. Standard Database Review <br /> The regulatory records search involves searching a series of databases for facilities that <br /> are located within a specified distance from the subject site. The ASTM standard <br /> specifies an approximate minimum search distance from the subject site for each <br /> database.
