25 <br /> Orange CounEy AFFORDABLE HOUSING STRATEGIC PLAN 2016 -2020 <br /> BOCC Work _ n September 8, 2016 <br /> The following scenarios illustrate some of the option pathways to achieve support of Mobile Home Parks and individual Mobile Home's. <br /> These strategies include: <br /> • Sustaining existing inventory <br /> • Reducing vacancies where possible (see lease options) <br /> • Improving conditions within Mobile Home Park's <br /> • Redeveloping where available unit potential may exist or be created <br /> • Creating new inventory by Mobile Home Park development <br /> Admittedly, each pathway may have strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and 'obstacles', however, a comprehensive track can <br /> ameliorate potential issues. The basic quantitative challenges often involve lack of infrastructure (including but not limited to public water <br /> and sewer) and zoning constraints based on 'old' regulations and techniques.
