12 <br /> Orange CounEy AFFORDABLE HOUSING STRATEGIC PLAN 2016 -2020 <br /> BOCC Work _ n September 8, 2016 <br /> The lack of continuous and coherent housing supportive services is a growing problem for those who are <br /> extremely low-income and at imminent risk of becoming unsheltered or living in shelters. <br /> Some specific needs of these at-risk households are:food, clothing,transportation, health care, medical <br /> treatment,case management,counseling and job,training with housing.The following,statistics indicate <br /> that there is a need for supportive housing in the County. <br /> Point in Time Count - January 2016 <br /> 65 sheltered <br /> 15 unsheltered <br /> 80 total homeless— living in shelters, transitional housing, and places not meant for human habitation <br /> 10 Adults & Children in families <br /> 70 Adults without children <br /> 7 Veterans <br /> 16 Chronically Homeless <br /> 14 Adults with serious mental illness <br /> 4 Adults with substance use disorder <br /> 1 Adult with HIV/Aids <br /> 11 Victims of Domestic Violence <br />
