<br /> Los Muertos was constructed with fifty students over one week and completed in time for El Dia de Los Muertos(Day of the Dead),
<br /> a holiday that remembers those that have died.The mural is prominently located in the school courtyard by a tree that served as a
<br /> guiding metaphor for the project.Students created"roots"using colorful lines to symbolize the community's shared roots:its
<br /> history in the past,present and future.

<br /> was inspired by the Surrealist drawing game Exquisite Corpse,whereby participants collaborate to make a drawing by rotating
<br /> turns to connect marks or lines.Connect the Lines was comprised of several large-scale sculptural"drawings"made of tape and
<br /> vinyl.
