The Origami Tales and Hear the Sound artists provide instructional
materials to correspond with their performances, which are distributed to MES teachers. Each
teacher is responsible for integrating these materials and lessons from the performances with
the curriculum in each classroom. These linkages most often take place on a grade-wide level,
with teacher teams in each grade using the same lesson in their classrooms. These lessons are
also reinforced during relevant `specials' classes (e.g., art, music, library).
