She <br /> has a Master of Science in Public Health/Medical Anthropology, with a <br /> lifelong interest in other cultures. <br /> Photography has been a means for Joanie to express and share her <br /> interest in diverse cultures and traditions. She had a black and white <br /> darkroom for 20+ years, and now works digitally in Adobe LightRoom. <br /> Joanie moved to Hillsborough, NC in 2008, where she has a small pottery <br /> studio along the Eno River. <br />
