I am writing to you in support of Simone's project proposal for the <br /> Jabe Hunter restoration of the community history project she completed in 1998. We <br /> CH Police Department are excited about her project and honored to have Simone offer to display <br /> the restored work as part of our 2016 20th Anniversary celebration. <br /> John Coole■ <br /> Community Advocate <br /> EmPOWERment Inc. has been fortunate to have the original pieces on <br /> Craig Reed display at the Midway Business Center for over 10 years. We serve <br /> Home Depot housing needs in Northside and Pine Knoll communities and have visitors <br /> regularly from the community in our offices. From the beginning, the <br /> Buffie Webber <br /> photographs have been a reminder of the history and spirit of that <br /> Commiinuv Advocate <br /> community, but, more recently, they also serve as a record of many elders <br /> STAFF who have passed on. Families can bring their children here to learn about <br /> Delores Bailey the community and to honor those whose names mark many of the public <br /> Executive Director places in Northside from the Hargraves Center, Smith and McDougle <br /> middle schools to Caldwell Street.
