000vSign Envelope ID: ro3u3rEA-418r-4uCe'ene8-984EE4r0uru0 <br /> EXTRAORDINARY ARTISTS <br /> 2016-2017 ARTS PROGRAM APPLICATION <br /> EXTRAORDINARY ARTISTS PROGRAM <br /> Goal: To provide a positive and enriching arts experience to autistic and developmentally <br /> disabled adults in our community and to celebrate their abilities and achievements <br /> through an exhibit event that is open to the community at the Extraordinary Ventures <br /> Event Center. <br /> Target: Thirty to forty autistic or developmentally disabled participants in a class called <br /> "Extraordinary Artists." <br /> Strategy: To partner with Happymess Art Studios to provide the artistic teaching and <br /> development tHrough a variety of methods and mediums <br /> To use the Extraordinary Ventures facilities to host the classes and the final event <br /> To use the EV staff and leadership to provide the administrative support and leadership <br /> To call on EV re/at/onshipoto other Autism organizations for additional funding and <br /> volunteer support for the classes and exhibit event including: The Autism Society of <br /> Orange County, TEACCF-I, The Ireland Foundation,ARC of Orange, and RSI. <br /> To hold at least 12 classes that coordinates with the regular bi-weekly social program for <br /> the developmentally disabled held at Extraordinary Ventures called "Friday Night Live" <br /> in 2016. <br /> To frame and/or otherwise prepare work for final display. <br /> To have a final exhibit night event in November called "An Artful Affair" that displays <br /> and celebrates the work of the participants and other artists in the community on the <br /> Autism Spectrum. This event is open and publicized to the community in an effort to <br /> change perceptions about ability and disability. <br /> To publicize this program to the community through posters, flyers, mailing inserts, <br /> brochures, press releases and more. <br />
