M <br /> -Please return this copy to the Clerk to the Board's <br /> office. <br /> STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA AMENDMENT 2 TO <br /> TOWN OF CHAPEL HILL <br /> EQUIPMENT LEASE AND <br /> MANAGEMENT OF A FEDERAL <br /> TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION GRANT <br /> This Amendment 2 to the EQUIPMENT LEASE AND MANAGEMENT OF A FEDERAL <br /> TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION (FTA) GRANT agreement, herein "original Contract", dated <br /> June 10,2010 by and between the Town of Chapel Hill,herein"Town",and Orange County,North <br /> Carolina,herein"County", is made and entered as of the date set forth below. <br /> WHEREAS,the original Contract was set to expire at the end of five(5)years,or 150,000 miles; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS,the vehicles in question have met their useful life and the FTA has no vested interest <br /> in said vehicles; and <br /> WHEREAS,the County has asked the Town to extend the lease until such time as the vehicles can <br /> be transferred to the County in accordance with North Carolina General Statute § 160A-274 and <br /> governing FTA Circular 5010.1D. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, said EQUIPMENT LEASE AND MANAGEMENT OF A FEDERAL <br /> TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION GRANT agreement is hereby amended as set forth below: <br /> Section 1,Term, is hereby revised by extending the term of the original Contract to <br /> June 30, 2017. <br /> Except as herein and previously amended, all the terms and provisions of the original Contract <br /> dated June 10,2010 are hereby reaffirmed and shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> [SIGNATURES ON FOLL 0 WflVG PAGE.] <br /> Amendment Revised 5/2016 Page 1 of 2 <br />
