Easley, Governor Linda Poviich, Chairperson <br />Summary: Notice of Funding Availability <br />Title: 10 Year Plan to End (Chronic) Homelessness Technical Assistance <br />Facilitator <br />3 <br />Purpose: The ICCHP seeks to contract with one agency in each 10 Year Planning <br />community to facilitate technical assistance activity(s) for the 10 Year Plan <br />Planning Council, Implementation Team, Sub-Committee(s), and/or strategic <br />stakeholders in the local planning/implementation process. <br />Description: In North Carolina at least 14 communities are in various stages of <br />developing and implementing 10 Year Plans to End (Chronic) Homelessness. Ir <br />turn, some technical assistance needs are unique to the community, based on <br />community size or how far along the community is in plan development and <br />implementation. This RFA provides the community the opportunity to access <br />technical assistance based on their unique needs plan status. <br />Funding Availability: A maximum of 14 communities will receive an award. Each <br />community will receive a maximum of $6,000, though the average will likely be <br />$3200. The total amount awarded is not expected to exceed $45,000. <br />Eligibility: ility: Eligibility is limited to agencies from communities engaged in <br />developing or implementing jurisdictionally endorsed 10 Year Plans to End <br />Homelessness or Chronic Homelessness who are designated as the technical <br />assistance facilitator by mayors, county chairs, or 10 Year Planning <br />Steering/Leadership Committee Chairs. <br />As of publication of the RFA, eligible communities include: <br />• Asheville/Buncombe <br />• Chapel Hill/Carrboro/Hillsborough/Orange <br />• Charlotte/Mecklenburg <br />Durham/Durham <br />• Fayetteville/Cumberland <br />• Gastonia <br />• Greensboro/High Point/Guilford <br />• Henderson <br />• Pitt County <br />• Raleigh/Wake <br />Location: 101 Blair Drive Adams Building • Dorothea Dix Hospital Campus • Raleigh, N.C. 27603 <br />An Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer
