Electrical Requirements: <br /> Indoor fan motor to operate at 208/230 volts.Power is supplied <br /> from the indoor unit. <br /> I. Operating Characteristics: <br /> The 40GVM system shall have a minimum listed SEER(seasonal <br /> energy efficiency ratio) of up to 16.0 SEER at AHRI conditions, <br /> and HSPF of up to 8.2. <br /> J.Refrigerant Lines: <br /> All units should have refrigerant line connections that can be <br /> oriented to connect from the left,right, or back of unit. Both <br /> refrigerant lines need to be insulated (on all systems). <br /> K. Special Features (Field Installed): <br /> 1. Condensate Pump: The condensate pump shall remove <br /> condensate from the drain pan when gravity drainage <br /> cannot be used. Pump shall be designed for quiet operation. <br /> Pump shall consist of two parts: an internal reservoir/sensor <br /> assembly, and a remote sound-shielded pump assembly. A <br /> liquid level sensor in the reservoir shall stop cooling <br /> operation if the liquid level in the reservoir is unacceptable. <br /> Furnish and install air conditioning air cooled condensing units as shown on plans. Units shall be <br /> completely assembled,piped and wired internally ready for field connections. Condenser exhaust air <br /> shall be discharged out of top of unit, and unit to have guards on coils and fans. Unit shall be <br /> matched to air handling unit to give integrated capacities indicated on plans and of same <br /> manufacturer. Unit to be as manufactured by Carrier, Trane, or approved equal. <br /> Unit shall be test operated at factory before shipment. Units shall be installed on suitable 4"concrete <br /> pad by this Contractor if shown ground mounted,and on Greenheck pre-fab equipment supports style <br /> GESR, or Portable Pipe Hanger and Support (Neoprene Padded Feet Type) Equipment Curbs - <br /> installed per manufacturer's instructions if shown roof mounted. All roof penetrations shall utilize <br /> Pate pipe curb assembly.All wall penetrations to be properly sleeved and sealed. Utilize Mitsubishi <br /> Line Hide System for all vertical refrigerant piping,furnished complete with all accessories,fittings, <br /> brackets,etc.for a complete system—color by owner(either factory color or field-painted as required <br /> —coordinate). <br /> The refrigerant system shall include a liquid line service valve, compressor cycle protector, high <br /> pressure switch,low pressure switch, Schrader fitting,refrigerant test valve,crank case heaters,and <br /> high capacity dryer. Refrigerant piping shall be Type"L"hard copper tubing,sized and installed per <br /> manufacturer's instructions,soldered with"silver solder",purged with dry nitrogen,evacuated before <br /> charged, insulated with 3/4" Armstrong "Auuaflex" or approved equal. If installed below grade <br /> between unit and building to be in 3" schedule 40 PVC conduits. Pre-charged line sets preferred <br /> 15H-24 <br />
