In case of conflict, notify Designer before proceeding with installation. Refer to <br /> architectural drawings for exact building dimensions and location of partition walls, doors,chases, <br /> etc. Mechanical drawings are not to be scaled for such dimensions. <br /> Because of the small scale of mechanical drawings, it is not possible to indicate all offsets,fittings, <br /> and accessories which may be required. Contractor to investigate structural and finish conditions <br /> affecting this work and arrange work accordingly,providing such fittings,valves, and accessories <br /> required to meet the conditions. <br /> The drawings and specifications complement each other and together are intended to give a complete <br /> description of the work. Any items of equipment or note of work to be done as shown on plans and <br /> not mentioned in the specifications,or mentioned in specifications and not shown on plans,shall be <br /> furnished the same as if mentioned or shown in both places. If conflicts exist, then the most <br /> stringent method shown or described shall apply. Any switches,controls,or equipment included in <br /> this contract work(drawings and/or specifications)that is not specifically shown on drawings shall <br /> be located for convenient use and access. Contractor to coordinate all equipment arrangement and <br /> lay-out in field prior to beginning any actual installation of his work. <br /> If Contractor notes any discrepancy, omission, or conflict found in plans or specifications,he shall <br /> call to the immediate attention of the Designer,prior to receipt of bids. After contract is awarded,no <br /> claim for extra compensation will be approved for above reasons. <br /> It is the intention that piping,air ducts and light fixtures are designed and laid out to clear each other. <br /> It shall be the responsibility of this Contractor to coordinate his work with that of other trades to <br /> avoid any such conflicts. Any conflicts that occur after work of one trade is installed and was not <br /> prior coordinated shall be relocated or rearranged at the total expense of this Contractor,as directed <br /> by Designer. Any conflicts that cannot be corrected in field by location or elevation changes shall be <br /> report to Designer in writing prior to any installation. <br /> Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and transportation and perform all operations <br /> necessary for and reasonably incidental to proper execution and completion of all "Mechanical" <br /> work,where specifically mentioned or not,all as indicated,specified herein,and/or implied thereby <br /> to carry out the intent thereof. <br /> H. CUTTING AND PATCHING: <br /> This Contractor before installing any of his work shall see that it does not interfere with clearances <br /> required for finished walls, partitions, equipment, etc., as shown on mechanical, electrical and <br /> architectural drawings and details.
