Wherever plans or specifications are in excess of such <br /> laws, codes, regulations, etc.,the plans and specification shall hold. All equipment so listed shall <br /> have U.L. label on it. All work must comply with all local codes and regulations. When more <br /> stringent requirements are imposed by governing regulations,they must be complied with. <br /> If Contractor notes discrepancies between laws, codes, ordinances, rules and regulations and the <br /> specifications or drawings, each discrepancy shall be called to the attention of the Designer in <br /> writing before the bids are submitted. <br /> D. PERMITS AND FEES: <br /> This Contractor shall secure all permits required for the completion of this contract. He shall obtain <br /> and deliver to the Owner all certificates of inspection issued by the authorities having jurisdiction, <br /> with Contractor paying costs of same. <br /> E. VISIT TO JOB SITE: <br /> Before submitting a bid, this Contractor shall visit the job site for the purpose of thoroughly <br /> examining the site and conditions under which the work must be performed. The submission of a <br /> bona fide bid will be construed to mean that this Contractor understands and is satisfied with <br /> conditions under which the contract must be fulfilled. No extra compensation will be allowed for <br /> situations arising from failure of the Contractor to thoroughly familiarize himself with site <br /> conditions, including charges and requirements for connection to utilities as shown for this project. <br /> F. WORKMANSHIP: <br /> Workmanship in the fabrication, preparation, and installation of materials and equipment shall <br /> conform to the best standards of practice of the trades involved. Work shall be performed by <br /> experienced and skilled mechanics under the supervision of a competent foreman. Substandard <br /> workmanship will be cause for rejection of work and replacement by Contractor. All costs <br /> associated with providing engineering assistance due to substandard work by the contractor shall be <br /> assumed by the contractor including time expended,telephone, and travel. <br /> G. DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS: <br /> The drawings show the location and arrangement of piping, ducts, and equipment, together with <br /> details of connections of certain principal items. The layout shown shall be followed as closely as <br /> circumstances will permit,but this Contractor shall lay out his work so as to avoid conflict with other <br /> Contractors, and trades, and to avoid any unnecessary cutting or damage to walls, floors, and <br /> supporting structural members. He shall,therefore, carefully and accurately locate all sleeves and <br /> install at the proper time all necessary hangers, inserts, etc., which will be required for the <br /> completion of his work and shall be solely responsible for the accurate and proper location of above <br /> 15H-2 <br />
