As evidenced by the signature of its Chair below, the Orange County Board of <br /> Commissioners, the elected representatives of Orange County, the owner of certain real <br /> property referenced and described herein, respectfully requests that the area described in <br /> paragraph 2 be annexed to the Town of Hillsborough,North Carolina. <br /> 2. The area to be annexed is contiguous to the Town of Hillsborough, North Carolina and <br /> the boundaries of such territory are as follows: <br /> Being all of a certain portion of land situated in Hillsborough Township, Orange County,North <br /> Carolina, bounded on the north by the northern half of US 70 Business, on the east by Wanda <br /> Braxton(PIN 9874718275), on the south by George Horton Enterprise,LLC(PIN 9874719144) <br /> and Orange County (PIN 9874711038) and on the west by Orange County (PIN 9874711038) <br /> and being more particularly described as: <br /> Beginning at a computed point in the centerline of US 70 Business, said point being located N <br /> 69 015'39" W 337.25' from the centerline intersection of said US 70 Business and Meadowland <br /> Drive; thence, leaving said computed point S 13°05'02" W 22.65' to an existing iron pipe <br /> within the right-of-way of said US 70 Business, said pipe also being the northwest corner of <br /> Braxton; thence with said Braxton S 13°05'02" W 296.98' to an existing iron pipe on the <br /> northern property line of Horton Enterprise, LLC; thence with said Horton N 70°26'58" W <br /> 75.15'to an existing iron rod at the northeast corner of Orange County; thence with said Orange <br /> County's northern and eastern lines the following four calls: N 69°11'51" W 99.10' to an <br /> existing angle iron,N 69°43'22"W 100.21'to an existing iron pipe,N 69°25'45"W 98.31'to an <br /> existing iron pipe and N 08°06'08"E 306.12' to an existing iron pipe within the right-of-way of <br /> US 70 Business; thence N 08°06'08"E 26.59' to a computed point at the centerline of US 70 <br /> Business; thence with said US 70 Business centerline the following three calls: S 66°58'37"E <br /> 101.07' to a computed point, S 68°32'30" E 99.88'to a computed point and S 69°14'58" E <br /> 202.10' to the point or place of beginning containing 2.824 acres more or less as shown on two <br /> surveys by Riley Surveying, PA titled "Physical Survey Lots 19-22 and Physical Survey Lots <br /> 16-18 (portion of 15) of C.P.
