<br />bookmobile service with Internet access to county areas not served by an <br />accessible library facility. <br />Orange County Public Library continues to evaluate outreach service to the remote <br />rural community through the Orange County Library Van services. Outreach <br />services are planned to increase fi°oin two to three days per week service in 2007-08. <br />8. That the Chapel Hill Public Library be recognized as a significant partner in the <br />provision of library services to the County. <br />¦ That the allocation of County funds to the Chapel Hill Library <br />reflect the role of that Library in providing county services. <br />¦ That a study be undertaken to determine the feasibility of joint <br />computer operations of the Orange County Library System with <br />the Chapel Hill Public Library. <br />Orange County continues to support Chapel Hill Public Library by providing a <br />municipal support annual contribution of ,$250, 00 to be utilized by the municipal library <br />system. Orange County Public Library Director completed reviewed of the feasibility of <br />joint computer operations with the other regional system Directors in Person and <br />Caswell Counties. Following this review, the directors determined that it is cost <br />prohibitive to participate in the same automation system.
