Year-To-Date Budget <br /> Summary <br /> PURPOSE: To approve budget, grant, and capital project ordinance amendments for fiscal year <br /> 2015-16. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> REVENUES: <br /> Department of Aging <br /> 1. The Department on Aging has received notification of additional revenue for <br /> Operation Fan. Duke Energy donated funds, totaling $3,242, for fans and window air <br /> conditioning units, for Orange County adults 60 years old and over. This budget <br /> amendment provides for the receipt of these additional funds. (See Attachment 1, <br /> column 1) <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goal is <br /> applicable to this agenda item: <br /> • GOAL: ENSURE ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY <br /> The creation and preservation of infrastructure, policies, programs and funding <br /> necessary for residents to provide shelter, food, clothing and medical care for <br /> themselves and their dependents. <br /> Technical Amendment <br /> 2. The following is provided for clarification and information purposes only; no new funds <br /> are being recommended. The table provided in the abstract for Budget Amendment <br /> #9 incorrectly stated the Senior Citizen Health Promotion Wellness Grant project <br /> annual budget totals. A corrected table is provided below. This technical budget <br /> amendment provides for the following amended Senior Citizen Health Promotion <br />
