My education and background as a nurse and family nurse <br /> practitioner working in public health have taught me the value of public engagement and the <br /> need to allocate public funds wisely. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> I am proud of our community and county s commitment to providing the best education possible <br /> to the children of Orange County and would like to play a more active role in the stewardship of <br /> our public education. <br /> Conflict of Interest: <br /> I do currently work for the Orange County Health Department as a Nurse Practitioner and <br /> interact with county wide school nurses on health related topics.
