Remove all cabinets, sink, water heater and sheetrock from <br />both interior walls. Remove the door casing. <br />2. Repair approximately 64 sq. ft of damaged sub-floor located ' <br />near washing machine and sink. Install 15 lb felt paper and 3/8 inch BC plywood over the kitchen <br />floor and prepare floor for vinyl. Install a new vinyl floor. <br />The vinyl to cost not less than $ 14.00 sq.yard. Install metal trim <br />at hall door opening. Install new painted shoe molding at all wall <br />and cabinet areas. <br />4. Install a dropped soffit-for the wall cabinets.. Frame with 2x4 and <br />2x21umber. Soffit shall extend approximately 1 inch from wall <br />cabinets. Install %2" sheetrock and finish smooth. Prime soffit <br />sheetrock with a new sheetrock primer. <br />5. Install new %2" sheetrock and door casing on both interior walls. <br />Finish sheetrock smooth. Prime new sheetrock with a new sheetrock <br />primer. Prime the new casing with an oil based primer. <br />Install corner trim where sheetrock meets block wall. Prime new <br />corner trim with an oil primer. Prepare the walls and trim for paint. <br />Paint the walls and trim with semi-gloss latex paint. Paint the block <br />work with an approved paint for masonry.. Clean as necessary <br />before painting. <br />6. Install new 4'/a" molded baseboard in the kitchen. Prime new <br />baseboard with an oil based primer. <br />7. Install approximately nine (9) linear feet of wall cabinet and six <br />(6) feet of base cabinet. Homeowner to choose stained of painted <br />finish. New cabinets to have a factory finish, hardwood fronts and <br />hardware. All cabinet doors and drawers to open and close <br />properly.
